Under the patronage of the Minister of Education, Mr. Marwan Hamadeh, Le Lycee National School held its annual graduation ceremony for 9th and 12th grades on Saturday, Sept, 8th, 2018.
The ceremony started with the entrance of the academic procession followed by the 9th and 12th graders.
The whole procession was accompanied by the enthusiastic music of the youth’s anthem “Nahno El Shabab”.
Later, the audience was left a west rack by the entrance of distinguished students who got the 1st 2nd 3rd 6th 7th 8th and 10th ranks in the official exams.
They entered under arched of roses and burning torches which lit the night sky.
After that, Mr. Fady Yarak, the representative of the patron of the celebration gave a speech which was followed by another speech given by Mr. Haitham Zebian, the principal of Le Lycee National Schools.
During the ceremony, certificates and moral and financial awards were presented to the graduates and the winners of school competitions. A special recognition was given to the students who received honorary mentions of “V. good” and “excellent” as well as to those who got the 11 through 20 ranks in official exams.
As usual the principal of the school honored the representative of the patron of the celebration with a precious gift and distributed numerous financial awards as follows:

All the teachers of the sociology and economy class received a total of 15 million LBP.

Sandra Abdul Baki received 7 million and five hundred thousands LBP. For achieving the first rank in G12 Sociology and Economics section in Lebanon.

Lara Harfouch received five millions LBP for achieving 2nd rank in G12 Sociology and Economics section in Lebanon.

Dima Bou Karoum received one million and five Hundred thousands LBP for achieving 3rd rank in G12 General Science section in Lebanon.

Reem Atallah, also, received one million and five hundred thousands LBP for achieving the 3rd rank in G12 Life Science section in Lebanon.
A special recognition was given for Mrs. Lara Chouman, a Lycee National graduate. She was awarded a trophy for her professional and academic achievements.
The ceremony ended with celebrating the impressive success of the three top students. They were carried on howdahs accompanied by cheerful music and magnificent fire works.
The ceremony reflected the dedication of the school principal and the academic staff who all took pride in the students’ success and impressive accomplishments.
